How to stay safe this Holiday Season

It’s cold outside. Tis the season for temperatures to drop and for the space heaters to warm our toes. “The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) estimates that more than 20,000 residential fires every year are associated with the use of room (space) heaters.” Our friends at Travelers has some advice on how to be safe with space heaters this winter.

The holidays are the busiest time of year for travelers. Long lines, delays, crowds and more add to the stress of the holiday travel season. Our friends at Safeco offer some Do’s and Don’ts for Holiday Traveling.

One of favorite activities as a kid was to drive around neighborhoods and check out the holiday decorations. Some homes start decorating around Halloween because it takes so long put up the lights.
